I have put together a list of my favorite 5 podcasts that I listen to each week so you don’t have to do the digging to get started.
#1 Rise– Tangible and tactical tools for your life and business. Hosted by New York Times Best-Selling Author Rachel Hollis, RISE is a series of bold conversations with fellow business powerhouses and personal development leaders that provides the listener with real-life valuable takeaways. This is the number one podcast in the business category and even if you are not an entrepreneur, the topics and guests that comprise this podcast are top notch experts in their field. John Maxwell, Malley Ronchal and Trent Shelton are just a few of the most recent guests.
#2 Girl Boss Radio– Each week on Girlboss Radio, you’ll hear honest conversations with trailblazing women. These women go deep on what it takes to build a successful career or grow a business with staying power—while living life on their own terms and navigating personal and professional curveballs. Expect hilarious, vulnerable, ~useful~ conversations that humanize the known, champion the unknown, and laugh a little at the absurdity of life. Hosted by Sophia Amoruso, CEO and founder of Girlboss and Neha Gandhi, editor in chief and COO of Girlboss.
#3 Oprah Super Soul Conversations– Awaken, discover and connect to the deeper meaning of the world around you with SuperSoul. Hear Oprah’s personal selection of her interviews with thought-leaders, best-selling authors, spiritual luminaries, as well as health and wellness experts. All designed to light you up, guide you through life’s big questions and help bring you one step closer to your best self. I grew up watching Oprah from college through adulthood. This is how I can still get my weekly dose.
#4 Women Killing It- Host Sally Hubbard talks to women who are killing it in their careers about what has worked for them, how they got where they are today, and what they wish they knew sooner. Women Killing It! celebrates these rock stars and harnesses their collective wisdom. The result is mentorship by podcast – women helping women unleash their superpowers at work! Women Killing It! is a proud partner of Women You Should Know, a leading digital hub of women’s and girls’ empowerment. I have been a longtime fan of this podcast and am excited I will be on the next episode! This podcast will give you inspiration but also share the “behind the scenes” hustle that will help you to see you can do it too.
#5 Mind of a Mentor– Mind of a Mentor podcast is an intimate discussion with influential women about their “Hero’s Journey”. Behind every strong woman is a struggle to success narrative that’s helped shape her life. Many times through the stories of others — we discover our own.
Use your downtime to your advantage and expose yourself to different ideas and draw inspiration from other women who are making the most of their professional and personal lives.
Remember the Jim Rhon quote “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” If you are limited by location or vocation you can always chose people that inspire you via podcast.
